Who We Are
WashnMaid ("we", "our", or "us") is a home services platform based in Kampala, Uganda. We operate the website washnmaid.org and the WashnMaid customer dashboard, through which we offer:
- Maid Services — standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/out cleaning, office and commercial cleaning.
- Laundry Services — wash & fold, ironing, dry cleaning, and bedding care with doorstep pickup and delivery.
- Shop — an online store for cleaning supplies and home care products delivered to your door.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use any part of our platform. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here.
Applicable law: We operate under the laws of Uganda, including the Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019. If you have any concerns about how your data is handled, please contact us directly — details are in Section 12.
Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to provide you with our services. Here is what we collect and where it comes from:

We do not collect your national ID number, bank account details, or any sensitive government-issued identification. We do not require any information from you beyond what is listed above.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account — so you can log in, track orders, and manage your profile.
- To fulfil your orders and bookings — we share your address and order details with our maid, laundry, and delivery staff so they can serve you.
- To process payments — we use your mobile money number to initiate payment requests via MTN MoMo or Airtel Money.
- To communicate with you — we send order confirmations, status updates, and notifications about your bookings. We may also send you promotional offers if you have opted in.
- To handle support requests — your messages help our team resolve issues and improve service quality.
- To improve our platform — usage data helps us understand how the platform is used so we can make it better for everyone.
- To prevent fraud and ensure security — we monitor login activity and transactions to protect your account.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not use your data for third-party advertising. Your information is used only to run WashnMaid's services for you.
Who We Share Your Information With
We share your information only when it is necessary to deliver your order or run our business securely. We never sell your data.
- WashnMaid Staff (Maids, Drivers, Laundry Workers): When you book a service, the relevant staff member receives your name, pickup/delivery address, and service details. They do not have access to your payment information or account password.
- Vendors: Vendors listed on our Shop can see order details for products you purchase from them, including your delivery address. They cannot see your full account profile or payment information.
- Payment Providers (MTN MoMo / Airtel Money): Your mobile number and payment amount are shared with the relevant mobile money network to process your transaction. We do not store your mobile money PIN or any payment credential.
- Technology Partners: We use third-party cloud hosting and infrastructure services to run our website. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations. They do not use your data for their own purposes.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by Ugandan law or a valid court order, or if necessary to protect the rights and safety of our users or staff.
Beyond these cases, we do not share, rent, or sell your personal data to any other third parties.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website uses a small number of cookies to make it work correctly and to keep you logged in securely.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools that follow you across other websites. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. Clearing session will log you out of your account.
Mobile Money & Payment Data
WashnMaid accepts payments via MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, and Cash on Delivery. Here is exactly how your payment data is handled:
- When you choose Mobile Money at checkout, we collect your phone number and the order amount to send a USSD payment request to your network.
- The payment transaction itself happens entirely between you and your mobile money provider (MTN or Airtel). WashnMaid receives a confirmation once payment is complete.
- We store the transaction reference number and payment status against your order for record-keeping and dispute resolution purposes.
- We do not store your mobile money PIN, your network account balance, or any other financial data beyond the transaction reference and amount.
- For Cash on Delivery orders, no payment data is collected in advance.
No card data is ever stored on WashnMaid systems. We do not offer card payments at this time. All payment processing is handled directly by your mobile network operator.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your information only for as long as it is needed to provide our services or to comply with legal obligations.

When you delete your account, we begin the deletion process within 7 business days. Some data may be retained longer where legally required.
Your Rights & Choices
Under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019, and as a WashnMaid user, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.
- Right to Correction: You can update your name, phone number, email, and address directly from your profile settings. For other corrections, contact us.
- Right to Deletion: You can request that we delete your account and personal data. We will comply within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain.
- Right to Restrict Processing: You can ask us to stop using your data for certain purposes, such as marketing communications.
- Right to Object: You can object to the use of your data for purposes beyond delivering your orders, such as service improvement analysis.
- Right to Data Portability: You can request your personal data in a readable format so you can take it elsewhere.
- Opt Out of Marketing: If you have received marketing messages from us, you can opt out at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at privacy@washnmaid.ug or use the contact details in Section 12. We will respond within 14 business days.
Children's Privacy
WashnMaid is intended for use by adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at privacy@washnmaid.ug and we will delete the information promptly.
Security of Your Information
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures include:
- Encrypted sessions: Your login session is stored in an HttpOnly, secure cookie that cannot be read by browser scripts or third parties.
- CSRF protection: Every sensitive action (placing an order, updating your profile, making a payment) is protected against cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Encrypted passwords: We never store your password in plain text. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms before being saved.
- Secure infrastructure: Our servers are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls, firewalls, and regular security monitoring.
- Limited staff access: Only authorised WashnMaid staff have access to your personal data, and only to the extent needed to fulfil your orders.
While we take these precautions, no internet-based service can guarantee 100% security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your WashnMaid account and to log out when using shared devices.
If you suspect your account has been compromised, please change your password immediately from your Profile settings and contact us at privacy@washnmaid.ug.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or the law. When we make significant changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- Notify you via email or an in-app notification if the changes materially affect how your data is used.
- Give you at least 14 days' notice before significant changes take effect, so you can review them and raise any concerns.
Your continued use of WashnMaid after any changes become effective means you accept the updated policy. If you do not agree with a change, you may request deletion of your account as described in Section 8.

By using WashnMaid, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the WashnMaid platform — including our website at washnmaid.org, the customer dashboard, or any of our mobile interfaces — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you are using WashnMaid on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
These terms form a legal agreement between you and WashnMaid Uganda. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our platform.
Our Services
WashnMaid provides the following services through our platform:
- Maid Services: Standard home cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/out cleaning, office and commercial cleaning. Services are performed by vetted WashnMaid-affiliated cleaning professionals.
- Laundry Services: Wash & Fold, Ironing, Dry Cleaning, and Bedding care. Laundry is collected from your door and returned clean and folded.
- Shop: An online marketplace for cleaning supplies and home care products. Products are sold by WashnMaid directly or by third-party vendors listed on our platform.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice. We will always aim to honour bookings already confirmed.
Your Account
To place orders or book services, you must create a WashnMaid account. When you do:
- You must provide accurate and complete information — your name, phone number, and email address.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your account with others.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, notify us immediately at hello@washnmaid.ug.
- You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.
WashnMaid reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these terms or used fraudulently.
Placing Orders & Bookings
When you place an order or book a service through WashnMaid:
- You will receive a booking confirmation with an order number. This is your receipt — keep it for reference.
- For service bookings (maid or laundry), you agree to be present or arrange access at the agreed location and time.
- For custom maid orders or services marked "Quote Required", your booking is not confirmed until you receive and accept a price quote from our team.
- For product orders, you agree to the delivery address provided and take responsibility for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery.
- WashnMaid reserves the right to decline or cancel an order if a service cannot be fulfilled in your area or if there is a suspected issue with the booking.
Order confirmation does not guarantee immediate dispatch for products. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and may vary based on demand and your location within Kampala.
Pricing & Payments
All prices on WashnMaid are displayed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and are inclusive of any applicable fees unless stated otherwise.
- Maid & Laundry Services: Priced per item or per service type as shown on the booking page. A transport/delivery fee of UGX 8,000 applies to most orders.
- Shop Products: Priced per item. Delivery fees apply and are shown at checkout.
- Quotes: For custom or large-scale services, we issue a price quote. The price is binding once you accept the quote.
We accept the following payment methods:
- MTN Mobile Money — a USSD push is sent to your phone at checkout.
- Airtel Money — a USSD push is sent to your phone at checkout.
- Cash on Delivery — you pay the driver or maid upon arrival. Exact change is appreciated.
Prices may change from time to time. The price shown at the time of your order confirmation is the price you will be charged.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans change. Here is our cancellation policy:
- Cancel before staff dispatch: You may cancel a service order at no charge at any time before a maid or driver has been dispatched to your location.
- Cancel after dispatch: If you cancel after a maid or driver is already on their way to you, a cancellation fee of up to UGX 10,000 may apply to cover transport costs.
- No-show: If our staff arrive at your location and are unable to access the premises or reach you within 20 minutes, the booking may be marked as a no-show and a fee may apply.
- Product orders: Product orders can be cancelled before dispatch from our warehouse at no charge. Once dispatched, cancellations are handled as returns — see our Return & Refund Policy.
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule a service booking at any time before dispatch at no charge. Contact our support team to reschedule.
To cancel or reschedule, use the "My Orders" section of your dashboard or contact us via the Support page.
Service Standards & Liability
WashnMaid is committed to providing high-quality services. Here is what we stand behind and what we do not:
- We guarantee: All maid and laundry staff are vetted and trained. If you are not satisfied with a service, report it within 24 hours and we will arrange a re-clean or re-service at no additional cost.
- Damage to property: If our staff cause damage to your property during a service, report it within 24 hours with photos. We will investigate and, where our staff is at fault, we will compensate fairly.
- We are not liable for: Pre-existing damage to items, damage caused by incorrect instructions given by the customer, or force majeure events (flooding, power outages, road closures, etc.) that prevent service delivery.
- Laundry: We take care with all garments. However, we are not responsible for damage caused by fabric defects, unlabelled delicate items, or items left in pockets. Always check pockets before handing over laundry.
- Products: Product quality is the responsibility of the vendor or manufacturer. WashnMaid facilitates the sale but does not warrant third-party products beyond what is stated on the product listing.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question.
Vendor & Third-Party Products
Some products in the WashnMaid Shop are sold by independent vendors. When you purchase a vendor product:
- The vendor is responsible for the product's quality, description accuracy, and stock availability.
- WashnMaid facilitates the transaction and delivery but is not the manufacturer or seller of vendor products.
- Returns and complaints about vendor products are handled through WashnMaid's support system. We will mediate between you and the vendor to reach a fair resolution.
- Vendor products are clearly identified on the product listing page.
WashnMaid-branded products are sold and guaranteed directly by us. Vendor products are sold by independent sellers and are subject to that vendor's own quality standards.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to use WashnMaid for any of the following:
- Placing fraudulent orders or providing false personal information.
- Using the platform to harass, threaten, or abuse WashnMaid staff, drivers, or maids.
- Attempting to access areas of the platform you are not authorised to use.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with our platform.
- Reselling WashnMaid services without written permission.
- Any activity that violates Ugandan law or the rights of others.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, legal action.
Intellectual Property
All content on the WashnMaid platform — including our logo, brand name, website design, text, graphics, and service descriptions — is owned by WashnMaid Uganda or licensed to us.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any WashnMaid content without our written permission. This includes our logo, brand colours, and any marketing material.
User-submitted content (such as reviews and support messages) remains your property, but you grant WashnMaid a non-exclusive licence to use it for service improvement and display purposes within the platform.
Termination
Either you or WashnMaid may end your account at any time:
- You: You can request account deletion at any time through our Support page or by emailing hello@washnmaid.ug. Outstanding orders will be completed before deletion is processed.
- WashnMaid: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your account has been inactive for more than 2 years.
On termination, your access to the platform ends. Data deletion follows the schedule in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from your use of WashnMaid will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
We will always attempt to resolve disputes amicably. If you have a complaint, please contact our support team first — we are committed to finding a fair resolution before any formal process is needed.

We want you to be completely satisfied with every order. If something goes wrong, here is exactly how we handle returns, re-services, and refunds — no fine print, no runaround.

Our Commitment to You
At WashnMaid, we stand behind every service we provide and every product sold through our platform. If you receive a wrong item, a damaged product, or a service that does not meet our standards, we will make it right — quickly and without unnecessary hassle.
This policy applies to:
- Shop Products — cleaning supplies and home care products ordered through our Shop.
- Maid Services — standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/out cleaning, and custom maid bookings.
- Laundry Services — wash & fold, ironing, dry cleaning, and bedding care.
The fastest way to resolve any issue is to open a support ticket or contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order or service. The sooner you report, the faster we can help.
Product Returns — Eligibility
You may request a return for a product if any of the following apply:
- You received the wrong item — the product delivered does not match what you ordered.
- The item arrived damaged or broken — visible damage to the product or packaging that affects usability.
- The item is defective — it does not work as described or has a manufacturing fault.
- The item is significantly different from its description on our platform — wrong size, wrong variant, or materially misleading listing.
Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. After 7 days, we are unable to accept return requests unless the product has a manufacturer's warranty that still applies.

How to Request a Return
Requesting a return is simple. Here is what to do:
- Log in to your WashnMaid account and go to Returns & Refunds in your dashboard.
- Click + Request Return and enter your order number and the item name.
- Select the reason for your return from the dropdown list.
- Add a brief description of the issue. If the item is damaged, include a photo if possible.
- Submit your request. You will receive a confirmation with a reference number.
Alternatively, you can open a support ticket via the Support page or contact us directly at hello@washnmaid.ug.
Photos help us resolve your case faster. If the item is damaged or wrong, attach a clear photo of the product and packaging when submitting your return request.
Return Process & Timeline
Once you submit a return request, here is what happens:

The full return-to-refund process typically takes 5–10 business days from the date of your request. You can track the progress in real time from the Returns section of your dashboard.
Refund Methods & Timelines
Refunds are issued using the same method you used to pay:
- MTN Mobile Money: Refund sent directly to your MTN MoMo number within 1–3 business days of approval.
- Airtel Money: Refund sent to your Airtel Money number within 1–3 business days of approval.
- Cash on Delivery: For COD orders, refunds are issued as WashnMaid credit to your account, which you can use on your next order. Alternatively, a cash refund can be arranged via a driver visit — contact support to arrange this.
Refund amounts: You will receive a full refund of the item price. Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the error was entirely on our side (wrong item, our delivery mistake). If only part of your order is returned, only the returned item(s) are refunded.
Non-Returnable Items
The following products cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Opened consumable products — detergents, cleaning chemicals, fabric softeners, or any liquid product that has been opened and used.
- Personalised or custom items — items made or customised to your specific order.
- Items damaged after delivery — products that were in good condition on delivery but were damaged by the customer after receipt.
- Products returned after 7 days without a valid warranty claim.
- "Changed my mind" returns — we do not accept returns simply because you changed your mind or found a better price elsewhere.
If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact our support team before sending anything back.
Maid Service Complaints
If you are not satisfied with a maid service, here is how we handle it:
- Report within 24 hours: Contact us within 24 hours of the service being completed. Complaints raised after 24 hours cannot be guaranteed a remedy.
- Re-clean at no charge: If the service did not meet our standard, we will arrange a free re-clean at a mutually agreed time.
- Partial refund: If a re-clean is not possible or not desired, we may offer a partial refund based on the extent of the issue.
- Full refund: A full refund is offered only if the maid did not arrive or if the service was entirely not completed without explanation.
To raise a maid service complaint, open a support ticket or go to My Orders → Track → Report Issue in your dashboard.
Please note: Maid services are priced by the room or item. If you selected fewer items at booking but expected a whole-house clean, this is not covered as a complaint. Always confirm your booking details before confirming.
Laundry Service Complaints
We take great care with your garments and linens. If you have a complaint about your laundry:
- Report within 24 hours of delivery: Inspect your laundry on delivery and report any issues immediately.
- Missing items: If any items are missing from your returned laundry, report it within 24 hours. We will investigate and compensate for confirmed losses.
- Damaged garments: If a garment was damaged during washing or ironing due to our handling, we will compensate up to the fair value of the item based on its age and condition.
- Items not as cleaned: If you are not satisfied with the quality of the wash or iron, we will re-clean the affected items at no charge.
We are not responsible for:
- Damage caused by pre-existing fabric weaknesses or unlabelled delicate items.
- Colour bleeding between items — always separate colours before handing over laundry.
- Items left in pockets (keys, coins, receipts) that cause damage to other garments.
- Shrinkage of items not labelled as machine-wash safe that you submitted without informing us.
Damaged or Lost Items
In the rare event that WashnMaid staff damage or lose an item in our care:
- Report the damage or loss to us within 24 hours with a description and, where possible, photos or proof of purchase.
- We will investigate the claim and respond within 3 business days.
- Where we confirm our responsibility, we will offer compensation at the current fair market value of the item, taking into account its age and condition.
- Compensation is limited to a maximum of UGX 500,000 per incident for items lost or damaged during a laundry or maid service. For higher-value items, please do not include them in laundry or cleaning without informing us in advance.
High-value items: Please do not include jewellery, electronics, cash, or irreplaceable personal items in laundry bags or leave them accessible during a maid service. WashnMaid cannot accept liability for such items.

Our Services
What services does WashnMaid offer?
WashnMaid offers three core service categories: Maid Services (standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/out cleaning, and office/commercial cleaning), Laundry Services (wash & fold, ironing, dry cleaning, and bedding care with doorstep pickup and delivery), and a Shop (an online store for cleaning supplies and home care products delivered to your door).

How do I book a maid or laundry service?
Log in to your WashnMaid account, navigate to the service you need (Maid Services or Laundry Services), select the specific items or rooms you want cleaned, enter your address and preferred date, and confirm your booking. You will receive a confirmation with an order number immediately.
Can I book a maid for multiple days, weeks, or months?
Yes. Use the Custom Maid Order option on the Maid Services page to request a personalised quote for long-term maid hire. Tell us the duration, work description, and location — our team will respond with a quote within hours.
What does a standard clean include?
A standard clean covers bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas — vacuuming or mopping floors, wiping surfaces, cleaning sinks and toilets, and general tidying. Deep cleans go further, covering hard-to-reach areas, appliances, and inside cabinets. You can specify exactly what you need during booking.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, and Cash on Delivery. When you check out, you choose your preferred method. For mobile money, a USSD prompt is sent directly to your phone — you confirm the payment on your handset.
Is it safe to enter my mobile money number on your platform?
Yes. We only use your mobile money number to send a payment request. We never store your PIN, account balance, or any other financial credentials. The transaction happens entirely between you and your network operator (MTN or Airtel).
What currencies do you accept?
All prices are displayed and charged in Ugandan Shillings (UGX).
Can I get a receipt for my payment?
Yes. Every completed payment generates an order record in your dashboard under My Orders, showing the order number, amount paid, and payment method. You can also contact us for a formal receipt.
Laundry Services
How long does laundry pickup and delivery take?
Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours for most laundry services within Kampala. Once your clothes are picked up, you can track the status in your dashboard — from washing to ironing to delivery. Same-day options are available for eligible areas.
Do I need to be home for pickup?
Yes, or you can arrange for someone else to hand over the items at your address. Please ensure someone is available at the agreed time to avoid delays.
What should I do before handing over laundry?
Always check and empty pockets before handing over laundry. Separate colours from whites where possible and let us know in advance about any delicate or dry-clean-only items that are not labelled as such.
What happens if a garment is damaged during laundry?
Report the damage within 24 hours of delivery with photos. We will investigate and, where our handling caused the damage, we will compensate up to the fair market value of the item (up to a maximum of UGX 500,000 per incident). See our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
Shop & Delivery
How much is delivery?
A standard delivery fee of UGX 8,000 applies to most shop and service orders within Kampala. Delivery fees are clearly shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
How long does delivery take for shop products?
Most product orders are delivered within 1–3 business days within Kampala. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and may vary based on demand and your location.
Can I return a product I ordered?
Yes — if you received the wrong item, a damaged item, a defective item, or an item significantly different from its description, you can request a return within 7 days of delivery. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
Can I cancel a product order?
You can cancel a product order before it is dispatched from our warehouse at no charge. Once dispatched, cancellations are handled as returns.
Account & Security
Do I need an account to use WashnMaid?
You need a free WashnMaid account to place orders, book services, track deliveries, and manage your wishlist and returns. Creating an account takes under two minutes.
How do I reset my password?
Go to the login page and use the Forgot Password option. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder or contact us.
Is my personal data safe?
Yes. We operate under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019. Your data is stored securely, never sold to third parties, and used only to provide our services to you. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@washnmaid.ug. We will process the deletion within 30 days, retaining only data required by law.

WashnMaid is designed to be simple. Whether you're ordering a product, booking a maid, or scheduling a laundry pickup — here's exactly how each process works from start to finish.
How to Order a Product
Ordering cleaning supplies and home care products from the WashnMaid Shop is straightforward. Here's how:
Visit washnmaid.org and sign up for a free account or log in if you already have one. You need an account to place orders and track deliveries.
Navigate to Shop Products from the sidebar or home page. Browse by category — detergents, fabric care, mops, dishwashing supplies, and more — or use the search bar to find a specific product.
Click + Add to Cart on any product you want. You can add multiple products from different categories. Your cart is shown in the top bar — click the cart icon to review items, adjust quantities, or remove anything.
If you have a promo or discount coupon code, enter it in the coupon field in the cart drawer and click Apply before proceeding to checkout.
Click Checkout →, enter or select your delivery address, choose your payment method (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, or Cash on Delivery), and confirm. For mobile money, a USSD prompt will be sent to your phone.
Once your order is confirmed, go to My Orders and click Track on your order. You'll see real-time status updates — from packing to dispatch to delivery at your door.
Delivery fee: A flat UGX 8,000 delivery fee applies to most orders within Kampala. This is shown clearly at checkout before you confirm.
How to Book a Maid Service
Booking a maid through WashnMaid is quick. Our maids are vetted, trained, and punctual. Here's the step-by-step process:
From the dashboard, click Maid Services in the sidebar or navigate to it from the home page. You'll see all available maid service types — Standard Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Move-in/out Cleaning, Office & Commercial, and more.
Click Book Now on the service that matches your needs. A booking panel will open. For commercial or move-in/out jobs that need a quote first, click Get Quote instead.
Use the item selector to pick exactly what you need — bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and so on. Use the + and − buttons to set quantities. The total price updates automatically as you select.
Type your pickup/service address and choose your preferred date. Be as specific as possible with the address (include landmark, estate, or gate colour) to help our maid find you easily.
Click Book Now →. Your order is created immediately. You'll receive a booking confirmation with your order number. Our team will assign a vetted maid and update your order status.
Track your maid's status in My Orders. Once the job is done, you'll be able to rate the service. If anything is not right, report it within 24 hours and we'll arrange a free re-clean.
Need a maid for longer? Use the Custom Maid Order option to request a quote for weekly, monthly, or longer-term maid hire. Our team will respond with a personalised price within hours.
How to Book a Laundry Service
WashnMaid handles your laundry from door to door — we pick it up, wash, fold, iron, or dry clean it, then deliver it back. Here's how to get started:
Click Laundry Services in the sidebar or from the home page. You'll see all service types: Wash & Fold, Iron Only, Dry Cleaning, and Bedding & Linen care.
Click Book Now on the service type you need. A booking panel opens with a list of individual items (shirts, trousers, suits, bed sheets, duvets, etc.) and their per-item prices.
Use the + button next to each garment or item type to add it to your order. You can mix item types — for example, 3 shirts, 2 trousers, and 1 bed sheet in the same booking. The total price updates in real time.
Type the address where our driver will collect the laundry and choose your preferred pickup date. Make sure someone will be available at the location at the agreed time.
Click Book Now →. You'll receive an order confirmation. Our team will assign a driver to collect your laundry and you'll receive status updates throughout the process.
Track each stage in My Orders: pickup confirmed → at laundry → washing → ironing → out for delivery → delivered. Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours. Inspect your laundry on delivery and report any issues within 24 hours.
Tip: Always check your pockets and separate delicate or dry-clean-only items before handing over your laundry. Inform us of any special items in advance so we can handle them correctly.

What Selling on WashnMaid Means
WashnMaid's Shop is an online marketplace for cleaning supplies and home care products — detergents, fabric care, mops, dishwashing products, and more. As a vendor, you list your products on our platform, and WashnMaid customers can discover, order, and pay for them just like any other product in the Shop.
You keep control of your inventory, pricing, and product descriptions. We handle the storefront, customer payments, order routing, and delivery logistics through our driver network.
Vendor products are clearly identified on the product listing page, so customers know they're buying from a trusted partner — not directly from WashnMaid.
What You Can Do as a Vendor
Once approved, your dedicated Vendor Portal gives you full control over your store:
- List unlimited products — add product name, category, pricing, discount pricing, stock quantity, descriptions, specifications, tags, and up to 5 images per product.
- Manage your own inventory — track stock levels in real time, set low-stock alerts, and update quantities as you sell or restock.
- Receive and fulfil orders — accept or reject incoming orders, mark them as packed, and hand off to our drivers for pickup. Customer identities stay anonymised (you only see "WM-User") to protect privacy.
- Track your earnings — view gross sales, commission deducted, and net earnings broken down by order, with filters for week, month, year, or all-time.
- Request payouts — withdraw your available balance to MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, or a bank account of your choice, once your earnings clear the standard holding period.
- Run promotions — create discount campaigns, flash sales, or coupon codes, and request featured placement for your products.
- Handle returns smoothly — see returned items, confirm receipt, and choose to restock or write off damaged goods, with commission automatically reversed on completed refunds.
- Talk directly to WashnMaid support — raise tickets for order issues, payout questions, product approval, or account matters, and chat with our team until resolved.
- See your performance — view customer reviews on your products, best-sellers, sales trends, and average ratings from the Reports section.
How to Become a Vendor
Getting started takes just a few steps:
Fill out the vendor signup form with your company name, contact person, phone number, email, business address, and TIN (if available). You'll set a secure password and verify your email with a 6-digit code.
From your Vendor Portal, upload a trading licence, a national ID for the director or contact person, and a TIN certificate. This step keeps the WashnMaid marketplace trustworthy for everyone.
Our team reviews your application and documents. Once approved, your account is activated and you're ready to start listing products. You'll be notified the moment your status changes.
Add product details, pricing, stock, and images. Submit them for approval — new listings go through a quick review before they appear live in the Shop.
As customers order your products, fulfil them through your Vendor Portal and watch your earnings grow. Request a payout to your preferred mobile money or bank account once your balance is eligible.
Commission & Payouts
WashnMaid takes a commission on each completed sale to cover platform hosting, customer support, payment processing, and delivery coordination. The exact commission rate is shown in your Vendor Portal and may vary based on your agreement with WashnMaid.
- Net earnings are calculated automatically as gross sale price minus commission, and shown per order in your Earnings tab.
- Payouts can be requested once your balance clears the standard holding period after order completion, used to safeguard against returns and disputes.
- Payment methods supported for payout include MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, and bank transfer — saved securely under Payout Details.
- Refunds on returned items automatically reverse the commission charged, so you're never out of pocket on a returned sale beyond the product cost.
Full transparency: every transaction — sale, commission, refund, and payout — is itemised in your Vendor Portal so you always know exactly what you've earned.
